The official Twitch chat works well but can be improved feature-wise.
Twitchat aims to fill those gaps by providing most of the official chat features while adding new ones.

One of its main goal is to make sure the streamer misses the least possible messages from her/his audience.
You'll see the first message of every viewer on a dedicated list so you don't forget to greet them. Conversations between viewers can be grouped on a single conversation window to better understand what's going on.
